Find Confidence, Peace, & Unconditional Connection
Whether you need support with a specific challenge, you want to get your family off to the right start, or you’re completely overwhelmed and frustrated, you’ve come to the right place.
East-West Wellness and I have the same values - vitality and wellitude! I support parents to find their vitality again by helping them find confidence, peace, and connection in the midst of the challenges of raising little humans.
What is an unconditional connection?
A bond between a parent and child free of blame, shame, guilt, labels, and punishment. It’s a relationship absent from the need to perform or be perfect in order to be loved. Understanding, empathy and reflection are at the core, leading our children to remain connected with us through all of life’s stages and to develop in the healthiest way possible.
What is parent coaching?
Parent coaching is a collaborative process where I work with you to create the family you long for, based on your family’s values.
Parent coaching is not a place where the past is extensively explored like in therapy (though it may feel quite therapeutic at times!), rather we will briefly explore the past to understand how it is showing up in your current life. Parent coaching is also much more collaborative and involves a more solution-based approach, though any solutions we come to will be co-created.
Meet Amanda.
I’m a certified parent coach through the Jai Institute for Parenting, a mama to an almost 3-year old little boy, expecting a double rainbow baby girl in July (thanks to the support of East-West Wellness!), and married to the love of my life. I’m so glad you’re here! My parent coaching program is proven and effective because it is supported by decades of scientific research.
I’m certified and practiced in the most recent brain science, nervous system science, secure attachment science, respectful and playful parenting techniques, nonviolent communication, and I hold a trauma-informed lens.
I founded Unconditional Connections after going through my own self-healing journey. My deepest desire in life is to create a relationship with my children that is not based on their behavior being perfect or “easy”. Rather, my goal is that they feel loved unconditionally so our connection lasts a lifetime. With the help of the skills I’ve learned through the Jai Institute for Parenting, I am confident we are creating that connection.
And I’m just like you — an imperfect parent who deeply loves her imperfect child. I’m someone who will truly get you and who understands perfection is impossible.
